Yamagandam
An inauspicious daily period, like Rāhu Kālam, avoided for auspicious beginnings.
What it means
Yamagandam is another eighth of the daytime, on a different slot from Rāhu Kālam, associated with Yama. Like Rāhu Kālam it is avoided for launching new or auspicious activities but does not disturb ongoing work.
