Gochara (Transits)
Transits: where the grahas move today, read against the natal chart to time current influences.
What it means
While the daśā gives the "when" from the birth chart, gochara gives the "now" from the live sky. Transits are usually judged from the natal Moon, and this app weights each transiting graha by the Ashtakavarga strength of the sign it is passing through, so a transit through a strong sign reads more favourably.
How it's computed
transits.ts computes the live sidereal positions and retrograde state of each graha for the asked date and annotates each with the transited sign's Sarvāṣṭakavarga (favourable when SAV ≥ 28) and its own BAV.
Deterministic, license-clean engine (astronomy-engine, VSOP87-grade; Lahiri ayanāṁśa). The AI advisor only narrates these computed facts — it never invents chart data.
